The presidential flagbearer of Accord Party, Prof. Chris Imulomen has stated that Nigeria’s challenges are beyond what a 70-year-old president can tackle. The candidate said Nigeria needs a youthful mind, who is at the peak of their career, to lead the way out of the current doldrums. Imumolen made the remarks at a meeting with stakeholders of the party in Kano State. Hr noted that the major problem facing the country was disunity, stating that it would become history if elected in 2023. “Nigerians are suffering across board. We need a youthful leader, not a leader that is almost declining, we don’t need 80-year-old, 70-year-old president.” “The problems need a youthful mind to fix. I am the only candidate that will tackle security, unemployment; that will take all Nigerians as one. There will not be difference between youths in the north and south.” He said since Accord represents unity, a president from the party is a guarantee of togetherness for the country. “If you have a president that is from Accord, there will be good times. Accord means oneness and progress. The party represents unity”, Imulomen added. Daily Post
