UCL: Rio Ferdinand names only two clubs that can beat Manchester City

Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand has identified two clubs that could beat Manchester City in the ongoing 2022-2023 UEFA Champions League season.

Man City progressed to the quarter-finals of the Champions League on Wednesday after thrashing RB Leipzig 7-0 at the Etihad Stadium.

Pep Guardiola’s side qualified for the next stage on an 8-1 aggregate win, having played a 1-1 draw against RB Leipzig in the Champions League round of 16 first-leg tie in Germany.

Speaking on BT Sport, Ferdinand insisted that only Bayern Munich and Napoli can hurt the Premier League champions.

He said, “Manchester City will be thinking, ‘Stay away from Bayern Munich, stay away from Napoli. Everybody else is game.’ They are that good a team.
