Bode George, former Deputy National Chairman of the PDP, has advised Atiku Abubakar, the party's 2023 presidential candidate, not to contest in 2027 due to his age.
Atiku, who was 77 years old last year, would be 81 years old in 2027.
George believes that Atiku should instead take on a role as a mentor to younger politicians and uphold the party's values.
He questions the idea of Atiku becoming a minister at his age, emphasizing the need for a new generation of leaders to take charge.
